How does the FOG Eraser work?
The FOG Eraser turns in-ground grease traps into biological “nurseries” for billions of microbes that eat fats, oils, and grease. Kitchen waste water goes in, and gray water comes out.

Where is the FOG Eraser installed?
It is installed underground between your floor and sink drains and the municipal sewer line or your septic field.

How is this different from other systems?
Every other system on the market today is designed to store FOG for periodic pumping and disposal. The FOG Eraser literally eliminates the fats, oils and grease. No storage or pumping is required.

Is the FOG Eraser proven technology?
Yes. The system has been tested and proven in multiple locations. Even after four years and tens of thousands of gallons of waste water, tests show that the FOG Eraser reduces the percentage of fats, oils and grease in the waste water to less than 1 tenth of 1 percent.

Is the system “environmentally friendly”?
Yes. The FOG Eraser uses microbes already found in nature (similar to the ones that break down a compost pile). The moment the microbes are released into a new system they begin eating FOG and replicating. No additional chemicals or nutrients are required. The microbes’ waste product is a simple grey water which is completely safe for multiple sewers and septic systems.

Can I just pour microbes down the drain?
If it were that easy, the FOG problem would have been solved years ago. Unlike the ineffective “drip” systems on the market, the FOG Eraser uses the patented BIOS-GT system to create the perfect environment for the microbes to thrive.

Isn’t it cheaper to just pump out the FOG?
Perhaps not. The Clean Water Act of 2001 classified FOG as a Class 2 Contaminant, and banned land disposal. Since their are very few Class 2 landfills, some waste haulers have resorted to illegal dumping. If you are one of their customers, you may also be liable.
